Event Description
The Main Even Gallery's June will feature the "Abstract Art" of Alphonso Acosta along with abstract art and photography by Gallery members. Meet the Artists at the reception Friday, June 9, 5-8 p.m. Alphonso Acosta of Redding destroyed all his previous art in 2011 and began creating new art. He uses mostly discarded paint for his canvases and never uses paint brushes or other traditional tools. The Gallery members abstract photography and art reflects a broad spectrum of their exceptional creative talent. The exhibit runs June 1-30. Gallery hours are 1-7 p.m., Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays. Sponsored by the Tehama County Arts Council.
