Missoula Children's Theatre,"Johnny Appleseed"

Event Description
The Missoula Children's Theater is coming to Red Bluff, and the MCT directors will be searching for students grades K-12 to fit the cast of characters in their live stage production of the familiar folktale, "Johnny Appleseed." Their shows are original adaptations of classic children's stories and fairytales, with a surprise twist to the classic story. The MCT tour team will arrive with a set, lights, costumes, props and make-up, everything it takes to put on a play...except the cast. Auditions are March 28, at 3:30 pm in the Vista Preparatory School gym, 1770 S. Jackson St., Red Bluff. A cast of 50-60 children will be chose. Students auditioning must arrive by the scheduled starting time and stay for the entire 2-hour session. The first rehearsal will begin 15-30 minutes after the auditions. The cast will have one week of rehearsals before their 2 performances, which will be held Saturday, April 2, at 3 and 7 pm in the State Theatre, 333 Oak Street, Red Bluff. Tickets: Adults $10, Students $8, Children $5.
