TEDxRedding aims to foster learning, inspiration, and wonder --to turn ideas into action. Join us for a curated afternoon of short (18 minutes or less), carefully prepared talks and performances on a wide range of topics. Locals will give live talks, and we will also feature some of the best pre-recorded TEDTalks from TED.com. TED was originally formed in 1984 to bring people together across three worlds (Technology, Entertainment, and Design). Since then, its scope has become even broader, with the global phenomenon of TEDx events, which are independently organized. TEDxRedding is powered by Catalyst Redding Young Professionals.
