Art & Photography Exhibit March 7- May 4 Reception: Friday, March 8, 5-8 pm Gallery Hrs: 11 am- 5 pm, Thu,Fri,Sat Gallery member artists and photographers will depict ranch life, cowboys, round-ups, animals and the scenic beauty that surrounds the North State with the theme, "Views Of The West," for the March-April exhibit at the Main Event Gallery, 710 Main Street, Red Bluff. Featured will be the works of artist Suzanne Bears and photographers Debbie Carlisi, Karen Roy Crockett and Clare Jones-Carbonell. The Public is invited to come meet the artists at the opening reception, Friday, March 8, 5-8 pm. Light refreshments will be served. The exhibit is sponsored by the Tehama County Arts Council in conjunction with the Red Bluff Art Association and the Tehama County Photo Club.

This is a 1-hour free seminar to review the features of both QuickBooks Online (QBO) and QuickBooks Desktop (QBD). We will review the 2019 QuickBooks Desktop version and the QuickBooks Online version during our session and focus on Intuit’s compara-tive online tools with open discussion. The 2019 QuickBooks Desktop version will be demonstrated live; as well as the QuickBooks Online “test drive” using Chrome. There will be plenty of time for questions and answers. Accurate bookkeeping is critical for successfully managing your business; therefore, taking the time to select the correct accounting program is key for your business financial management success. This 4-part training series provides essential information to individuals thinking about starting a new business and new business owners (in business one year or less). Topics include: Legal Requirements including e-filing and e-paying with Employment Development Department (EDD), Market Analysis, Cost Analysis, Funding Your Small Business, and Overview of the Business Plan - bringing it all together. You will learn the legal requirements for starting a business, how to assess your market, and plan for direction, how to obtain funding, the types of funding available, how to calculate your start-up costs, and best practice for completing a business plan.

The theme of the event is Recognizing and Celebrating Our Strengths and is designed to help students own their unique skills and to communicate these to others. Help prevent Rx drug abuse and overdose deaths by getting unused and unwanted medications out of the home. There will be 3 drop-off sites in Tehama County -- Red Bluff Walmart, Corning Police Department, and the Los Molinos Vets Hall. Drop-0ff is free and anonymous. The event is sponsored by the DEA in collaboration with local law enforcement.
