Experience the Western way of life through the April art exhibit, "Country Roads" at the Tehama Arts Gallery, 238 Oak Street, Red Bluff opening with an artist's reception Friday, April 12, 5:30- 8 pm. Tehama County is known for it's western style culture of ranching, livestock, roundups and the scenic beauty of its landscapes. You are invited to come meet the artists and see how they have captured their visions of the west in various forms of arts. You are encouraged to come dressed Western for the event. Be a part of a new feature of our exhibits. After browsing the art at the reception, cast your vote for The Best Of Show People's Choice Winner. May 2 - May 23    Practical QuickBooks for New Users - 4-weeks, 2 hours per week Series
Accurate bookkeeping is critical to the success of any business. This QuickBooks Series is for entrepreneurs and business owners in the beginning stage of bookkeeping (i.e., planning, have not yet purchased their system, or have purchased but not using). The trainer will guide you through the basics of accounting from identifying the best QuickBooks version for your business, to setting up your system, managing accounts, and using financial reports to manage your day-to-day activities. This 4-weeks, 2 hours per week series includes 4 focus areas: Week 1: Accounting Basics & Getting Started with QuickBooks - Training includes: Basics of accounting, identifying the QuickBooks version that is best for your business, and setting up your company and chart of accounts in QuickBooks. May 10 - May 31    The Bee Art Show
May is mental health awareness month and art is vital to a healthy, happy vibrant community and a healthy, happy, vibrant life. The Tehama County Arts Council's show for the month of May is the Bee show. Art will focus on depicting a bee theme either in the art or the title; bee kind, bee a friend, bee happy, bee authentic, bee strong, bee at peace, bee free or any other message that speaks to the artist. The Bee Show will open with an artists reception Friday, May 10, 5:30-8pm, Tehama Arts Gallery, 328 Oak Street, Red Bluff. It will run through May 31. Artists are encouraged to create art on hexagon shapes/canvases, Canvases are available at the Tehama Arts Gallery. This is a show to have fun with. Bee creative! TCAC will also offer free fun Art Classes the month of May, focusing on improving mental health. May 19    50th Anniversary Car Show in the Park
The 50th Annual CHVA Car Show in the Park at Red Bluff River Park will be held on Sunday May 19, 2024, 8am to 2pm. It's good old-fashioned fun for the classic car enthusiast. For $20 you can enter your car in one of 16 classes of cars from pre 1930's through 1975. Stock and modified cars are welcome. Trophies in every category. Visitors are free. Bring the entire family to this event and enjoy, cars, music, food and drinks, raffle prizes including a 50-50 prize, and a Henry Golden Boy Rifle. The live music is by Jimmy Limo. The event is put on by the Contemporary Historical Vehicle Association. Spectators and visitors attend for free. Set aside Sunday May 19, 2024 8:00am to 2:00pm for this family friendly outdoor event at Red Bluff River Park.
